I am so excited that my fifth self-published book is finally completed. It was a bit of a struggle. However, Danielle L. Alberto, the illustrator and I worked well as a team. You see I am an adult with Asperger Syndrome and other neurological disorders. Socializing with people and making them understand my point of view from my perspective is quite challenging. Although I don't mean to scare people I end up doing that and then people don't want to be around me. Let me explain. Danielle and I used to have conversations about Disney, Animation and other things that we both could talk about and then one of the members of the Princess Club told me that Danielle would be a great illustrator for my book. I asked Danielle, and she agreed. However, months passed, and she was quite busy. We didn't get a chance to speak with one another because she lives very far. Then one day I talked with Danielle, and things began to be different. Adults kept telling me to keep my distance and not to touch Danielle. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but something was wrong. My parents explained that I had to respect a person's space and that sometimes my tone of the voice and words that I choose sound very aggressive. If people don't know me, they think I am going to hurt them, and they become afraid. Being an adult with Asperger Syndrome is not easy because people believe that you don't have feelings. The fact that I could not express my feelings about this situation to others hurt. I did not mean to make Danielle uncomfortable, and my intentions were not to bring harm. Anyway, from this collaboration we finally completed Ayo and Yuliana.

Ayo and Yuliana are two Zebras who roam freely in the Savannah. Both Zebras are loved and cared for by their father. So when Ayo and Yuliana are convinced by the leopard to disobey their father's warnings, they soon realize it is a hefty price to pay. Can Ayo and Yuliana turn choice of disobedience to obedience? Can their loving and caring father ever forgive them and allow them back to the Savannah? This book is now available on the following publishing channels:
